Will there be any compensation or support for test takers whose applications were affected?
IELTS is offering support to all test takers whose scores have been corrected, including a full refund for the original test or free resit.
For test takers who also paid for an Enquiry on Result (EOR) for Listening and/or Reading components and/or a One Skill Retake (OSR) in relation to the corrected test, these costs will also be refunded.
To request a refund or resit, test takers should access the link in the email they received about this issue. They can also contact their relevant partner organisation via our Contact Us page who will be able to support in processing a refund.
